Postales de Frontera y Protomundo Monotema presentan un conjunto de objetos, ensamblajes y piezas híbridas que combinan dibujo, talla en madera, pintura, fragmentos escultóricos y capas translúcidas, creando pequeñas cápsulas narrativas que habitan dentro de una estructura tipo maleta–archivo. Estas piezas funcionan como “microterritorios” donde el cuerpo se reconfigura, se desdobla y se convierte en un organismo transitorio entre lo humano, lo arcaico, lo íntimo y lo imaginado.

La obra propone una reflexión sobre la identidad corporal desde la fragmentación, la memoria migrante y el cruce simbólico entre raíz, desplazamiento y mutación. En lugar de ofrecer una narrativa lineal, el conjunto invita a una lectura arqueológica: capas, restos, objetos, dibujos y signos coexisten como vestigios de un cuerpo expandido más allá de su anatomía original.

🇬🇧 Border Postcards and Protomundo Monotema

Border Postcards and Protomundo Monotema present a collection of objects, assemblages, and hybrid pieces that combine drawing, wood carving, painting, sculptural fragments, and translucent layers, creating small narrative capsules housed within a suitcase–archive structure. These pieces function as “microterritories” where the body is reconfigured, unfolded, and transformed into a transitory organism — one that navigates the spaces between the human, the archaic, the intimate, and the imagined.

The work offers a reflection on bodily identity through fragmentation, migratory memory, and the symbolic interplay between rootedness, displacement, and mutation. Rather than presenting a linear narrative, the ensemble invites an archaeological reading: layers, remnants, objects, drawings, and signs coexist as traces of a body expanded beyond its original anatomy.
